Programming Fundamentals
Your first step into real software development.
Every developer starts somewhere. This course introduces programming logic and syntax through a widely used, beginner-friendly language, focusing on how to think through a problem and turn it into working code — not just memorizing commands.
It's the recommended starting point before our Web Development, AI & Machine Learning, or Diploma in Computer Science programs, and works well as a standalone introduction to how software actually works.
What this program covers
What you'll walk away with
- Ability to read and write basic programs independently
- A working mental model of how software is built
- Confidence to move into web development or further programming study
- Practical debugging and problem-solving habits
Frequently asked questions
We start with a beginner-friendly, widely used language chosen for how clearly it teaches core programming logic, then discuss how those concepts transfer to other languages.
Basic computer comfort helps, but if you're already comfortable using a computer day-to-day, you can start directly with Programming Fundamentals.
Most students continue into Web Development, AI & Machine Learning, or the full Diploma in Computer Science program.
